Dear Colleagues,

For the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Belgian Society of Radiology (BSR), the sections of Head and Neck Imaging, Neuroradiology, and the Young Radiologist Section (YRS) joined forces to organize this this year’s meeting ‘Head and Neck Radiology with a touch of Neuroradiology’.

We are well aware that Head and Neck is a niche section in radiology, therefore we aimed to discuss frequent topics and situations to which residents and general radiologists are often faced with in daily practice.

The meeting kicks off with an introduction by the YRS president, followed by three presentations on suprahyoid neck pathologies. The second session will focus on infrahyoid neck pathologies.

After the lunch break, anatomy and pathology of the cranial nerves and posterior fossa will be presented in more detail. A session on anatomy and pathology of the temporal bone and skull base will conclude this year’s annual meeting. All lectures will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing attendees to raise burning questions on techniques and pathology.
